Here my most recent project; the SdKfz 10/8 - ObservationsKraftwagen.













SdKfz 10/8 - ObservationsKraftwagen
The SdKfz 10/8 was quite similar to the SdKfz 253, but by having a 3t-chassis, it was able to extend possibilities inside. The Kfz contained FuG 5, -7 and –8. The first trials version was outstanding in artillery-observation, but as Aufklärungkraftwagen it clearly lacked speed and agility. It’s tasks should have been larger than actually given, this SdKfz 10/8 rolled out with the 512 Schwere Panzerjäger Abteilung, leading a small Sturer Emil-battery in 1942. The battery –and therefore this only SdKfz 10/8- was finally taken out in october by Russian T-34’s.

'same here, nice trick!

what kind of material did you use for the scratchbuilding? Cause apparently you can cut it, glue it, and write on it too...
