Scrath built 1/16 RC Jagdpanther

I've been building a 1/16 RC airsoft Jagdpanther from scratch. This is my first attempt at anything like this

First I scaled up some plans from a 1/35 scale model and built a card mock-up

The Tamiya Panther gearbox dropped right into place, so I know my measurements can't be too far out.

This is my first attempt at anything like this and so far I'm pleased with the results.

 

If I'd made something that looked like that, I'd be very pleased indeed!

 

For scales sake,can you post a pic of one of those marvelous builds next to a common item?A can of soda or something.

Quick update.
Almost finished the top hull, -





Going to order the running gear, suspension etc in the new year.

 

Your taste in soda leaves a lot to be desired. But your modelling skills are truly impressive.

I look forward to seeing the finished result.
