Apologies for being so bloody useless, but I am afraid that I don't know how to put up a link into the appropriate YOUTUBE pages, but there really is some quite good tank footage on view at present. I was particularly impressed with what appeared to be Iranian soldiers destroying an Iranian T-72 and the efforts of the crew to get away from the burning machine despite hundreds of rounds of machine gun being hosed in their direction.

I was also impressed on the footage of a target T-72 being hit by a shoulder fired missile (possibly a Javelin ?). I know that the T-72's main armament ammunition is very exposed within that tank, but the missile strike so utterly destroys it that barely a smoking engine block is left.
This surely poses the quetion that given the cost of a missile of this type ( probably hundreds of thousands of dollars ), why cannot a cheaper missile be employed that would just as effectively render the AFV ineffective, but cost less - after all, it surely isn;t necessary to so utterly destroy the enemy AFV ?

That's the one ! Thanks for your help. I don't ever recall seeing real footage of infantry versus tanks. I was going to call them a "tank hunting team" but that wouldn't be fair to professional tank hunting teams !
