Fr. Francis Vernon Douglas a Columban Missionary from New Zealand. He was assigned in Pililla, Rizal, Philippines 1938-1943 as Roman Catholic Missionary. July 24, 1943 (WWII) he was taken out of the Japanese Army in the convent of Pililla, Rizal and brought to Paete, Laguna Church; was tortured and on July 27th his body was taken out again from the Paete church that until now it is pronounced missing.

year 2014 is the 71st year anniversary since that time. May we ask anyone who knows about him? His body were it was buried or any information about his body. thank you very much. tgp

Hello, I wonder whether or not you were able to identify any further information about the disappearance of this priest?

I too am interested in identifying what happened to him,

Thanks for a reply, if you have time,

    regards,

    Pete
