Medical Records Search - Finney General Hospital

I could use a little help or maybe possible direction on how to proceed. I am looking for the medical records for a WWII veteran. We have obtain partial medical records for the veteran, which indicate that he was a patient at Finney General Hospital in Thomasville, GA in late 1945.

I have contacted a local historian from the Thomasville Historical Society, and he was able to give be a brief history of the hospital, but had no medical files.

When I reached out to the NARA on obtaining medical records for the veteran, I received the following response, "We also failed to locate a Finney General Hospital on any military installation in Thomasville, GA"

I am wondering on how to proceed. Should I send follow-up request to NARA with the additional information I have obtained. Or is there another path to proceed down. Thoughts?

Try taking a look at this thread and this VA website. Ha, I just noticed how old this thread is...hopefully you got your answer by now.
