Hello everyone. I have finished a new commission. A client in the USA ordered an original drawing of the USS Wisconsin (BB-64). I hope you like it. Title: USS Wisconsin (BB-64). Technique: Pencil / graphite. Format: 11″x16″, paper Canson, acid free. High quality. Details
Hi. Thank you. I don´t count the hours, it's actually a ruinous business, but maybe 25 or 30 hours enjoying it. The photographs don´t capture the work done, the different shades of gray. The ideal is to see the drawing in-situ, and capture the effect of old photo. Regards.
25 to 30 hours is impressive...my drawings, not nearly as good as yours typically took over 100 hours...I have to ask, do you ever use a ruler or rely on a steady hand? Hoping to see some Australian subjects...maybe the Perth? Just asking ... : )
Hello. Yes, I use the rule habitually, to measure, and to trace some lines, which are later redrawn without the help of the rule, and I get a natural look. The use of gum is important for a a nice effect. Now I have some commissions, but I have not received orders on the Australian theme. Regards.
