Recently took the family up to New Hampshire for vacation. While we were there I took a day for myself and headed to the Wright Museum for some relaxation and research. Excellent museum whose exhibits primarily focus on the home front during the war. However, they have a fine collection of vehicles and arms in the military section.

A Stuart tank welcomes you. Always liked the effort here, lol

I am a sucker for vintage lifesize dioramas. 5 and 10 store front.

Inside 5 and 10 store. The amount of vintage toys was amazing.

Classic living room with floor radio as the centerpiece. Favorite is the boy playing with the cardboard toys on the couch due to rationing.

Enlarged SE Post on the expansion of female roles.during the war. This was part of an interesting exhibit. Time capsule rooms where you walk through the war years in sequence.

Pic taken from the mezzanine. Piper Cub hangs above.

Much more to be seen but I needed to head to the archive. Here's the link if you want to check it out. Highly recommend if you are ever in the White Mountains.
