My roommate recently got me into LPs and earlier this semester I scored CCR's Bayou Country and it's been a long day so I thought I would put this record on the spinner before hitting the sack

Just posted this gal and it got left on the previous page. She's so cool it needs postin' again... because she's French and fronts a band devoted to American Southern Rock from the seventies (though the song in the vid is by English band morphing southern rock). It's also nice to see a current day yoot that isn't covered with tattoos and with their pants hanging down their ass. She's wholesome, when she isn't drunk on cheap red and beating English soccer fans with a bar stool.

I have just got into the music of Pallbearer. They are like slowed down metal/grunge ,seemingly influenced by Black Sabbath mid 1970's work such as 'Sabbath Bloody Sabbath' and 'Sabotage'.

Here is 'Thorns' from their latest CD ' Heartless'

    Song name: Cafe

    Singer: Sharareh

    Year: 1973

Here is lyric in FA and an EN translation by myself:

In the cafe, on my way (to home), after work and fatigue
I had an speach with my heart, tables and chairs
I had an speach with my heart, tables and chairs

I talked of you, with my heart
    From you and your eyes
    From you and good days
    Your memoires

    Sudenly, the door opened
    my heart was stopped,
your height (#1), my dear, became like a picture at entrance.
your height, my dear, became like a picture at entrance.

    Sudenly, the door opened
    my heart was stopped,
your height became like a picture at entrance.
your height became like a picture at entrance.

He shook your eyes and threw a baby
The table fell apart and fell apart
The table fell apart and fell apart (#2)

In the cafe, on my way (to home), after work and fatigue
I had an speach with my heart, tables and chairs
I had an speach with my heart, tables and chairs

I talked to you with my heart with my heart
From you and circling your eyes
From you and your good and good hand
You're up to date with you

    Sudenly, the door opened
    my heart was stopped,
your height became like a picture at entrance.
your height became like a picture at entrance.

Two sodding Earworms! Two of the bastards.
The first one's recurrence I can live with, the second, triggered every time I hear the word 'Whitstable', I could definitely live without.
    They don't match...

The S.O.S. Band - Take Your Time (Do It Right). It's my three year old son's bath time song right now. The song is just a classic, the best version being the one performed on Soul Train in 1980. It has it all, high steppin', a funky guitarist in a Napoleon hat, and a guy dressed as an Admiral killing it on the keyboards.

Yo, Von Poop, take a look at the video I posted earlier and notice who's on the keyboard on stage left. Look familiar?
