These stories still hapen all the time. I don't buy the buzz thing with journalists from the whole world and helicopters showing up. When a kite is found here, it is kept as secret as possbile to avoid looters. Also the Mein Kampf thing is a joke. Pilots would take survival kits , such as flares, color kits or lamps rather than books, not to mention that most of them hated the Nazis and their main goal was to surive the war. It still is nice story though.
