Hello everyone, as all of you probably know, since October of 2017 I have been making threads on all 50 U.S States and their contribution to WW2 and how the war changed them forever. I have really enjoyed doing this, and the things I have learned are truly astonishing, and have given me and even greater appreciation for this magnificent country and the greatest generation. While I am nowhere near to being done with the 50 states, I am considering doing something similar for the English commonwealth and French colonies, and maybe the U.S.S.R's states. Would those be of interest to any of you? Thank you for any input and suggestions. -Wilson
I would love for you to do Australia...she is a part of the "British" commonwealth...hehe...Australia only has six states and two territories...so wont take too long!
I don't know how I couldn't talk about Australia CAC! I'm not sure I'd be capable of finding substantial info on each and every Australian state and territory to make it work, I have a hard enough time making a WW2 effect for some states here in the U.S!
Mate...first stop for anyone wanting to know about Australians at war is the Australia War Memorial...They are Aussie war nerds! (you think i'm boring!?) When/if you do Victoria...don't forget to mention the US Marines stay there... And better bloody mention the bombing of Darwin! : ) I also think your state by state run down should be pinned...people could add to each as time goes by...making a beaut picture of the US in WW2.
I'll certainly have to look at the Australia War Memorial for info, thank CAC. As for the state by state interaction, I do want others to add their stories or added information to the thread, it's just that most don't which is okay.
Universities Individual industries, like motorcars, shipbuilding, etc. Social groups, women, minorities, scientists, etc. Suburban areas The travel industry. Just sayin'.
Hello everyone, I have decided that from now on in my WW2 effects I will add photos and descriptions of the images to spice things up a bit, I will also be going back to my past WW2 effects and adding images as well. it will take me a while to do so, but I'm willing to make it better
