Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles today!! Great Win against the greatest Dynasty in NFL History, the New England Patriots. Props to Nick Foles, and Doug Pederson especially for making fantastic decisions throughout the game. Great to see this Franchise finally have a Superbowl, it's unfortunate Donovan McNabb or Randall Cunningham couldn't both have one.

Well, I see that the Eagles have won the Super Bowl. I say they deserve a round of applause for this stunning upset. Who knew that Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B Schmit could pull this off?

Although I guess in hindsight this isn't a surprise. Tom Brady couldn't come close to matching Don Henley's vocals, and who can forget how Joe Walsh absolutely shredded them with his killer guitar solo during the last 2 minutes?

Fly Eagles Fly, you finally got your ring! Really, I have watched a lot of Super Bowls, but this had to be one of the greatest. A real nail biter till the last second. Next season’s schedule is no cake walk, but I will be at the “Linc” in South Philly for a couple of games. Congrats to the Eagles and all their fans!

The news just issued a correction for last night's mistaken announcement. Eagles fans did NOT set Philly on fire. Philadelphia always smells like burning garbage.

Since the New Orleans Saints wasn't in it, it was just a scrimmage game to us. But I'm glad that Tom Brady and his Pats got beech-slapped.

It would be great to see another team that has never one a Superbowl, win it all next year.
    Teams without a Superbowl win:

Minnesota Vikings- 4 Superbowls, 4 losses
Detroit Lions- Never been to a Superbowl......Damn
Cincinnati Bengals- Joe Montana Screwed them over......I'm okay with that
    Cleveland Browns-............obviously
Carolina Panthers- Missed there Chance against my Broncos in #50, I have no sympathy.
Atlanta Falcons- Another Team the Broncos beat...once again, no sympathy. You manage to lose the Superbowl when you're up 28-3......You don't deserve a F****** Trophy ever
Jacksonville Jaguars- They try......but they aren't going with Mr. Bortles at the helm, even if he plays well.
Tennessee Titans- They were a yard away from winning one against Warner and Faulk..........too bad.
Houston Texans- When you pay Brock Osweiler 72$ million, what do you expect? But I think they're headed in the right direction.
Arizona Cardinals- You gotta feel for Larry Fitzgerald....he deserves a ring.
San Diego....Ah Sh**...Los Angeles Chargers- If Dan Fouts can't get to one, Phillip Rivers won't either
Buffalo Bills- 4 Superbowls, 4 losses........I'd rather be a Browns fan, where winning a game feels like winning a Superbowl.

    Nice synopsis JJ.

@ A-58 Surely you can appreciate the sport without the passion of your own team's involvement?

    How odd.

I'm a "dyed in the wool" Raider fan, cut me and I bleed black and silver. But I can still enjoy and appreciate an N.F.L game between two other protagonists, especially when it's the Superbowl.

Yay for you then. Why is it odd just because I could care less about 2 teams that I could care less about that are playing. I hope that they both lose.

No, I have next to no interest in the NFL or professional sports in general. For the most part they are just about all over paid spoiled national anthem disrespecting knee taking thugs. The last Super Bowl I watched was when the Saints bumbled into it. I prefer to follow college football, and my interest there is only with LSU. In addition to that, I am interested in the Olympic Games, with partially to the Winter Games since I sneaux ski.

Australia got a silver overnight! Woohoo...not much snow in Australia, pretty much none in summer...so its always a hoot to rob a cold country of a medal.
