Hello everyone, today I come bearing fantastic news, well at least I think so. In a few months, Periscope Games (They are a byproduct of the game Squad) will release Post Scriptum: The Bloody Seventh. The game is built and designed like Squad, which emphasizes teamwork and strategy, Post Scriptum will have vehicles and air strikes, while Squad does not. The Game is set in Arnhem during Operation Market Garden in the fall of 1944, and will allow the players to choose between the British XXX corps, the U.S 82nd and 101st airborne units, the Whermacht, and the Waffen SS. I firmly believe this is the best WW2 game ever............this is the game I've been waiting for my whole life! Here are my reasons as to why this will be the best WW2 game of all time..... Lets get the obvious out of the way now, this game is visually stunning. Sure, COD and Battlefield have great graphics too, but this is different, way different. Post Scriptum's developers researched what Arnhem looked like in 1944, and the maps are incredible, both the foliage and buildings are extremely lifelike, not to mention the towns are created off of maps and photos during the war, so there based off of real areas and designs. Every units uniforms are accurate, and incredibly detailed. The weapons and vehicles are also true to real life designs and colors seen during the operation. Also, the guns and vehicles used in the game have the most realistic sound ever, the MG-42 sound in the game is said to be the most accurate representation in gaming history, along with many others. The game's physics and gameplay is simply incredible. I'm going to stop talking, and will let the video speak for itself......caution, some of the videos have strong language HUNTING TANKS with the Panzerschreck! Anti-tank Rocket Launcher | Post Scriptum Gameplay
Hard to say how gameplay will be without actually playing it, but give up on the teamwork aspect already. Every game that has tried to implement teamwork fails horribly. You get the hardcore group who 'squad up' and work together, the hardcore players who will bark orders and try to work with people, and then the randos who run and gun for their personal gain and make up 90% of the player base! I love the idea of needing to work together, but it doesnt work with a bunch of random people, half of whom do not have a mice, and half of the rest being squeakers.
I understand where you're coming from Mussolini, but I'm maintaining faith, and I have no doubts about the gameplay. I've watched a few hours worth of videos on the game and I can say with confidence that the gameplay will not disappoint.
