some finds in battlefield

    there are some find I got in battlefield of Kurland. Stg44 magz were in gas mask container. Some smaller magz together was together with Walther pistol. One mag was from Walther, other one is still unknown. some relics of blown shells.

    That is quite a find. I assume most of the recovered material was buried by artillery in combat between the Germans dug in and the advancing Russians. That Walther is rather spectacular! with scabbard, magazine, and ammunition still together. Oh, and welcome to the forum.

    not mine, but friend of mine gave me to hold this beauty. This was hidden in metal pipe in oil and rags to conserve it. It was hidden to be found.
