D-Day Ohio

    It was the largest event I have seen thus far. They had more aircraft flying (a B-25, three P-51's and a Nave torpedo plane). The newest German addition was a Pzkfw Ill repro and a Flak 88. The battle took over an hour. Gets larger every year and this is the 19th year.

    They have not posted all of this year's yet. They had multiple small battles happening throughout the day. They simulated battle on the Pegasus bridge, an ambush carried out by the french resistance, another battle involving the airborne troops. They also had weapon demonstrations explaining what they were and their role. Very well done. People from all over the country there. I do not know if it is the largest but it sure is big
