    Much as I hate to say this I think there comes a time when these aircraft need to be relegated to the museum.

    These kind of things are always sad to hear about. I'm afraid you're right Belasar that the original aircraft don't have much longer before they are in museums, but that doesn't include replica's........

    As an aside, this was apparently the exact aircraft used in Where Eagles Dare

    Initial findings have been released by the local authorities - the aircraft apparently was seen to enter a left turn which quickly developed into a downward spiral - the aircraft hitting the ground almost perpendicular.

    Obviously, a full report will follow in time. A very sad incident.
