hey everybody my real name is chip.i am new to the forum and I am here bc of my interest in WWII which I have had since I was a kid bc of Dad's service in the south pacific with AAA. I myself have served in two branches, Navy and after a break in service i joined the ARNG and between both branches i have multiple deployments and over 20yrs of service. I can def translate from military to English for those with no military background. My 14yr old son has really resparked my interest in WWII military history after we lost Dad a few yrs ago and he had tons of questions. I spend my spare time with my son picking through swap meets/flea markets for WWII memorabilia which always leads to more questions....lol. well hopefully i can help answer questions as im sure i will need questions answered myself.
