Hi Kitty, I'm very happy to make a sub-forum for this. If you don't mind I'll shoot you an email and we can hammer out details.
I have a contribution, a 1943 publication titled "Why Women Cry: Wenches with Wrenches." (Boss Lady liked it.)
I also have a bulletin from the Women's Bureau of the United States Department of Labor (#205) titled "Negro Women War Workers". I'll put links to both in the new sub.
Just mostly from what's taking place in our organization.. Rite now Otto. We are partnered with TEXAS Air and Space Museum Lotta muck an work there but Rosie's have a Texas panhandle history..you know the Party is constructed here at Bell. We have to get on same level an discuss this!i excited!
Defense vol. 1 no. 08 1940-10-18.pdf Defense Magazine "Published by the National Defense Advisory Commission". "Women Workers for Defense Industries" on cover. Full page article, page 3. (I haven't uploaded those files yet. Ask me the next time you're here.
The above are being uploaded to Index of /hyperwar/NHC/NewPDFs/USA/Office of War Information (OWI)/Victory-Defense Bulletin This is the Office of War Information's house organ and includes such gems as the day the US Government invented hamburger. I currently have numbers through 1943. I'm looking for the rest. Another beauty from the same source will be posted as time permits.
