Part of my collection includes signed limited edition prints. I started collecting the prints about 30 years ago and also had the opportunity to meet some of the pilots and artists who created the works. Unfortunately I would guess all of the great men who have signed the prints have passed away. Anyone else collect?

This print "The Giant Begins To Stir" was signed by a crew member from each B25 that was part of the Doolittle Raid including Jimmy Doolittle

Yes indeed - I have quite a few ( in fact, more than I have wallspace for ! ). Like you, it's given me the opportunity to meet and talk with many legendary figures, nearly all of whom have sadly passed on.....

When I started I had a huge interest in BOB. I thnink my favorite artist is Robert Taylor and my most prized print is signed by Douglas Bader

A top-class collection, I have some but more than I have wall space for - Marie has been patient and understanding in tolerating my "dung". :)
I got this print yesterday and was asked: " where is that going"? (Robert Taylor's "Knight's Move" , the 109's the aviation interest. IMG_8753.JPG IMG_8756.JPG )

If you want to see a huge collection of signed prints, there's a Five an Dime store in Branson, Missouri with many of them. I had a sore neck when I left.

Thanks. It has been now about 45 years. Unfortunately many of those men who have signed those prints have passed. It is important to keep their memory alive.

No collection is complete without a Spitfire.
