Here are some photos from my father's photo album. There is handwriting on the reverse of these photos but pop's handwriting was terrible to read. But here they are Image 01 taken 1939 can't make out shoulder boards not sure if it's a number or GrossDeutschland. https://i.ibb.co/dG3v98X/IMG-0001.jpg Image 02 Not sure what these guys are doing most likely just posing for the camera bad handwriting makes it hard to read caption except the date 1939 there is what appears to be a photo gallery mark "Optiker Gabriel 1146 Stargard" https://i.ibb.co/yY6Q89H/IMG-0002.jpg Image 03 Taken 1939 Beats the crap out of me where this is you'll need a pharmacist to read the writing it came loose from the album and old glue is stuck to the back. https://i.ibb.co/VJbxJCT/IMG-0004.jpg Image 04 Lastly taken 1939 as well and all that is written is the date and Polen. I guess somewhere in Poland. https://i.ibb.co/W56f7Tf/IMG-0003.jpg
First pic the dude at the far right has white bands on which a re telling me that this was a practice oder in Deutsch: eine Übung. White bands mark him as an observer of the practice. Pic 3 looks like there are on a a railway transport with a open waggon to me. The one in front has an truck aboard maybe.....
Nice photos. Can you post what's on the back? Even though the handwriting may be terrible, some of our experts may be able to make something of them.
