"A train carrying 30 vintage T-34 Soviet tanks has arrived near Moscow after an epic journey that took the tanks by sea and by rail from South-East Asia."

Someone said the other day that they're to be combined (if only technically) into one dedicated military/ceremonial unit.
Lovely posting for a Russian army historical nerd.
Think they're post-war Czech-made ones, but haven't stared at them properly.

I agree Adam. Definitely not WWII vintage tanks. The rims give them away right off the bat.

Just occurred to me ..... These tanks might be part of a clandestine Russian buildup in preparation to attack Poland. Does anyone know if Germany is shipping tanks towards its eastern border?

I'd brave freezing temperatures to see dozens of T-34-85 tanks on the same track that brought millions of men, and other T-34-85 tanks to the area 75+ years ago! I bet you Laos would sell those relatively cheap........excuse me, I have to make a call...........

They were pre-positioned years ago...Even painted in Polish colors.
