Why wasn't the Pacific as "good" as Band of Brothers?

Bought it on blu-ray for 6 quid today. Will watch it with my youngest who is now old enough to watch it. I haven't seen it since I borrowed it off a mate years ago.

My copy has the option of playing the episodes by themselves or playing with background. Select the latter and they have the veterans interviews just like BoB, the historical background also helps put the episode into context for those less familiar with the Pacific theater. I recommend watching it with them on.
Episode ten may not be easy to keep a youngster engaged through, not much action, but it does go into what happened to each of the men after the war and ends with real pictures of them, next to the actors that portrayed them, plus a synopsis of their post-war lives. It also addresses Sledge's PTSD, rather well I thought.

I've watched Bohemian Rhapsody twice & never twigged that John Deacon was Eugene Sledge.
Obviuosly I knew Freddie was Snafu.

Always available it appears for the mods to see. Unfortunately seems to be a problem here.
