Hello, I found this forum by chance, and decided to join due to the rather interesting articles that I've read. My name is Buddy Metz, and I live in South Carolina. I am 33 Years old, and for as long as I can remember I've have had a fascination with WW2 History. I lead a group of Living Historians based in and around South Carolina. Our Unit name is "The Fighting Fourth Living History Group". Our main portrayal is that of C- Company 12th Regiment 4th Division. Our secondary Impression is F Company 321st Regiment 81st Division. In joining this forum I am hoping to interact with others who have like interests, and to also share any information that I can. One of our unit projects is to locate/maintain the graves of veterans who served in those units from South Carolina/Georgia/North Carolina. I am also looking to make contact with any WW2 veterans or children of veterans of those units who live near by. Also if you are thinking of joining a reenacting unit that takes pride in unit history and preserving the memories of it's men please give me a shout. Thanks Again
Greetings from St. Louis. Too far to join in the fun, but not too far to give a salute for your work with the living history. And newbies buy a round at the bar. Glenlivet 15 yo, please.
Nice having you Buddy. Join the fun and read deeply. There's a lot of good information and smart people here. We're a fun bunch.
Welcome from Washington State. Been to Fort Jackson for a graduation but didn't have time to look around much.
