Kido Butai formation

    Does anyone know or have diagrams of the Japanese formation on Dec 7? I would guess it was similar to that shown in Shattered Sword for Midway, with 6 carriers vice 4 of course. For flight operations the carriers spread out to about 8000m apart, but of course the cruising formation was tighter. Thanks for any insights.

    I have one in a book around here some damn place. Pretty predictable IIRC. I'll snorkel through the stack that's currently balanced on the edge of my tub when I get the chance, day or 2 prolly.

    Found a nice one in Wilmott's book. Haven't checked the other books yet, this one looks legit. Somebody has to come over and reconnect the A3 scanner, then I'll post a link.
