    Hello,

I am new in this forum. My first contribution:

I am preparing an exhibition (2020) and a book about the end of war, with different perspectives from Germans and non Germans. There were many people passing Lubeck in 1945: Scandinavian people being repatriate by their red cross organisations in march and april, liberated female KZ prisoners from Ravensbrück (Folke Bernadotte, White Busses), Germans refugees from East Prussia etc, prisoners from KZ Neuengamme (Cap Arcona desaster); After the end of war: the liberation of allied pows in Lübeck (Oflga X C, Stalag) liberated prisoners from Bergen-Belsen on it's way to sweden, many DPs, or German.

Here I would like for british voices and photos. I've seen the fine Photos at IWM, but maybe there is more in privat hand? Or letters? I've found one from John Maxwell (Colonel John Lockhart Maxwell, Royal Scots Fusiliers) in the National Army Museum Templer Study Centre, written in 6th of may.

Here is another photo from Lübeck, held by Getty images:

Thanks for any help or hint!
