My friend has a large collection of German Beer Steins. I took this photo in 2010 when I was visiting him.
Neat! Maybe if your friend is a collector he can tell me something about this one that my father brought home.
Very Cool Stein. Unfortunately my friend is very old and blind now. He wouldn't be able to see it. If I get over to see him I will try & describe it to him. I looked through the photos that I have of his collection & I don't see one like yours. I know that he has a lot of WWI German military steins. Maybe someone else on the forum will be able to help.

WOW! Thanks. It is in the possession of my brother. I should have him get it appraised. The helmet and individuals name and unit may add to the value.
