My friend has a large collection of German Beer Steins. I took this photo in 2010 when I was visiting him.

Very Cool Stein. Unfortunately my friend is very old and blind now. He wouldn't be able to see it. If I get over to see him I will try & describe it to him. I looked through the photos that I have of his collection & I don't see one like yours. I know that he has a lot of WWI German military steins. Maybe someone else on the forum will be able to help.

The workshop was at Lindwurmstraße 93, up until 1904, and then moved to Aberlestraße 16, in 1904/5, where it remained until at least 1957. The business of Kaspar Reischenböch was purchased on the 21st May 1910, by Gustav Wieninger Jun. and transferred to Aberlestraße 16, Founded in 1828. It was thought they had finally closed circa 1999. I found this stein while doing a search for yours. It was sold at auction last year in North Carolina. Description: 1930s/40s; original 6.25” height to top of handle, half liter artwork of soldiers at artillery cannon, has impressed signature on bottom appears to be a T & C #15. Has German helmet in reef on top of lid, overall condition is excellent and original. Provenance; Smith Collection Charlotte NC
