I had the opportunity to purchase the foot locker of SSGT Jerald Stump. I think it was one of the largest grouping I have ever purchased and is packed with so much history. The locker includes uniforms, all his paperwork, photographs, items he has picked on the battlefields and everyday items. The 30 pictures posted just really scratch the surface of items and information

Not many kept everything together in this good of shape. The drawing shows him receiving the Navy Cross but wonder why it's not displayed on the uniform?
Don't know how you manage to snag all these great deals. thanks for sharing.

I also wondered about the Navy Cross award. I have not been able to find it on any documentation. Still need to dig much deeper on this grouping. There is so much paperwork and information and am surprised that it all stayed together all these years

Sorry, not sure of the question? It is a large grouping that I have in my collection if that is the question.

Yes, I was lucky enough to acquire the grouping together. I actually purchased it in his footlocker. I think it has been to date the largest grouping I have been able to get. Sorry for the confusion

    What a great find!
Why wouldn't a family want this?

I never understand why families do not want to keep something that connects them to their legacy. I guess I make sure I take on that responsibility when I am able to acquire them

Another huge grouping of a B17 Navigator who became a POW. The picture is of his father receiving his DFC and Air Medal with 2 Oakleaf Clusters. At the time he was listed as MIA. Goes back to why wouldn't a family want this in their family?
