Where was the British sniping school in the Middle East?

    Location:
    Reading, PA
    Not until 1942, but more likely 1943.
    One was in Lebanon combined with a mountaineering training school, but it was mostly concerned with camouflage. Another was in or near Jerusalem, but was more a hunting camp than a sniper school. Then there was another about 300 miles behind the British line from Monte Cassino.

    Find a copy of "With British Snipers to the Reich" by a Captain C. Shore.
