The rabbit in our backyard has been looking unusually skittish for the last couple days.

He probably smells the cooking oil from your kitchen :)

Rabbit was a great WW2 Midwestern dinner. Still is actually.

I really like rabbit. Have had it several ways, from fancy French to country fried. My absolute favorite: rabbit cooked over a fire on the end of a stick in sub-zero weather. My goodness that is some tasty eats!

I enjoy Mr Prine's laid-back sound. His recent album, "Tree of Forgiveness", is a good one.

Old people sex is a conspiracy theory? I'll let The Code of the Old slip. We try not to let on how good it gets with age. Like fine bourbon aged for decades in an oak cask.

So I'm back in the bunker at Evac Zone A from Ground Zero. Just returned from a 100 mile trip to American Redoubt for some supplies. Fewer people live there. Social distancing is easier. The young lady in the pot shop suggested Miracle Alien Cookies. An Indica with 28.96 THC. The lady said the people in American Redoubt were stocking up on marijuana and ammo. Preparing for marshal law.

I can't be a liar. I have a hard enough time remembering what's true. I'd never be able to remember any lies.

I was out and about today. Stopped in the market to pick up eggs and milk. While the shelves were a bit thinned out, there was still plenty of food. (Picked up the ingredients for a traditional Irish-American St Patrick's Day feast of corned beef and cabbage.) But....yes...they were out of toilet (loo) paper.......

The FSSF had a "calling card" that they would leave on the enemy bodies after night missions at Anzio. In German it said The Worst Is Yet To Come.

From what I'm hearing on line, the medical community is or about to be, massively under equipped and manned in the next month.

Here in Canada, people are hoarding toilet paper. I went to the grocery store last night -- non-perishable food was sold out. Bottled water was scarce. Toilet paper was all gone.

    People are dumb!

I'm currently in the Eifel Region of Germany and everything appears to be normal here. The shops have plenty of toilet paper, pasta and water on the shelves and the local folk seem to be going about their business usual.

I was scheduled to stay here until Friday, but due to the threat of EU border crossings closing, I will be returning to the UK later today.

My planned exploration of the Hurtgen forest will just have to wait for another day!

If you don' t eat and buy Food where do you need toilet paper?

Somebody was selling already in Finland in the net 12 rolls of WC paper for 50 euros. Everybody laughed.

With a bit of luck, there's going to be massive enquiries into the media's role in creating mass hysteria when this dies down. Not helped by people's innate gullibility either of course, but the press have definitely stoked the fires.
