Have developed an interest in 13th century history and created a related blog. So far have posted

A review of Sophie Therese Ambler's biography 'The song of Simon de Montfort ,England's First Revolutionary and the Death of Chivalry'.

An interview with battle fiction writer David Pilling.

An article about the famine that hit in England in 1258.

An article about the death of Little Sir Hugh of Lincoln in 1255.

Want to keep a balance between the power politics and battles along with lesser known subjects . Also eventually hope to start looking the history of Asia in the 13th century.

Have updated the 13th century blog with a review of David Pilling's book 'Rebellion Against Henry III -The Disinherited Montfortians 1265- 1274', which presents a strong case that the conflict known as The Second Barons War did not end at the Battle of Evesham in 1265, with the defeat and death of Simon de Montfort. A series of further revolts broke out in a number of English counties. An exciting read indeed Rebellion Against Henry III by David Pilling
