IMG_2131.JPG IMG_2132.JPG For me a big buy - Kaptain Zur See reefer jacket a little worn but still in very good order, unnamed the owner possible a Spanish or German Cross in Gold holder.
A visor cap will be added next week - again finding one in good order made the decision to buy it, my buying for the year finished ! ( Apart from an EK 1 upgrade ). Binocular perhaps - 7x50 smooth will add one when the cap arrives, the side cap will go back to another item - ( Lt. Zur See overcoat.). IMG_2131.JPG
A ribbon bar will take a little thought and time to research.
A jacket of this rank does not come along very often so no regrets.

IMG_8735.JPG I have since added a visor cap, ribbon bar and set this set of Zeiss 7x50's on the jacket.(Ribbon bar is not a perfect match but best I can do for the present). The binocular I have had for well up on twenty years plus, a gentleman from Liverpool emailed me and sent photos asking if I would be interested in buying it, his father had been given it by a neighbour for whom he had built a new fence, it had only been used once a year to watch the "Grand National" steeple chase.

If I could find a period officer's tie I would pop a shirt on "him" as well.

A dagger to finish this off, hammered sheath and a plain blade. (WKC).
On the left, I have to get this portepee on to it, apparently the trick is to get the knot close to the crossguard and get it around the crossguard and work towards the top.
    (Hopefully this will work okay). IMG_9753.JPG IMG_9754.JPG IMG_9755.JPG IMG_9757.JPG IMG_9760.JPG IMG_9765.JPG

This is the last thing for him, the loops on his jacket were in place so he has not been over-decorated ( would not wish to do this), I do ponder ( but will probably never find out) who the owner was, the dagger is the last thing too add.
