Well tomorrow is the big NFL draft for us American football knuckle heads..runs for three days with seven rounds of anticipation, surprises and some duds as well. Should be interesting with tele-conferences and hi-tech wireless vs hosting jam parties and enough crowds and hype to get crazy about. Cincinnati drafts first and is expected to take QB Joe Burrow out of LSU and the only Tiger to win the Heisman since Billy Cannon in '58. Here is the draft order so far but I'm sure will change.

    Round 1
    1. Cincinnati
    2. Washington
    3. Detroit
    4. NY Giants
    5. Miami
    6. LA Chargers
    7. Carolina
    8. Arizona
    9. Jacksonville
    10. Cleveland
    11. NY Jets
    12. Las Vegas
    13. San Francisco f/IND
    14. Tampa Bay
    15. Denver
    16. Atlanta
    17. Dallas
    18. Miami f/PIT
    19. Las Vegas f/CHI
    20. Jacksonville f/LAR
    21. Philadelphia
    22. Minnesota f/BUF
    23. New England
    24. New Orleans
    25. Minnesota
    26. Miami f/HOU
    27. Seattle
    28. Baltimore
    29. Tennessee
    30. Green Bay
    31. San Francisco
    32. Kansas City

It is going to be a bit strange this year considering how the NFL year did the draft prior years. I know here in Philly a few years back when they held the draft here there were so many parties and the city was just one big party. Just doesn’t seem to be that important with everything else going on and we are wondering what type of season there will be this year. I have been a season ticket holder for the Eagles now for thirty years and they have stopped taking payment on my tickets until further notice. Usually you never get any type of break when it comes to your season tickets and the Philadelphia Eagles.

I am sure the Las Vegas Raiders will roll the dice on their first two picks or simply get what they are dealt...couldn't resist. As a Seahawk fan I see them needing a pass rusher and some wide receivers but most likely they will trade off that 27th pick for more picks.

I think my Eagles need help on the “o” line and lots of help in the our defensive backfields.

...and wide receiver and linebacker. Could use another running back, too. They need to get younger, faster, (and cheaper).

My Vikes have a lot of holes to fill. Their primary needs are Offensive Line, Cornerback, & WR. With 2 first round picks, I expect they'll pick a Tackle or CB with one pick and trade down to get more picks with the other. The GM likes to trade down to pick up multiple picks. Should be an interesting draft.

Vikes just picked WR Justin Jefferson. So much for my prognostication skills. As other teams picked OL and DB's, I was wondering if they might go WR but still thought the O Line was a greater need. We'll see what happens with their pick at #25.

GM Spielman didn't let me down. The Vikes traded #25 to San Fran and got SF's pick at #31 plus a 4th round and a 5th round pick.

Some interesting picks..my Seahawks took a LB I never heard of out of Texas Tech..so much for a pass rusher or a receiver or even traded that pick for more picks I had predicted..felt the draft was sorta boring running out of Goodell's basement..my sports room looks better than his in my opinion.

I just had a hard time watching the whole thing. Especially watching the people all dressed up and cheering. Maybe I am getting just too old. I am happy my Eagles got a WR but if we don’t get some help on the line you can’t throw throw the ball on your back.
