Help with belt identification

    Hi, so from what I know I believe that this is some sort of German belt. I could tell by the leather part with the holes, which would then connect with the belt buckle. In 1915 there was an order from the kaiser to paint all equipment black, and with this belt being brown I have reason to believe it is 1915 or earlier. However, the majority of the belt does not look leather, so maybe whoever had it first modified it in some way. It is hard to tell. Hopefully that helped you in some way. -Elliot

    Here is a ww1 Austria-Hungarian belt I found on eBay. It has the same material as your belt. So it could also be a modified Austria-Hungarian belt
