Hi... I'm new.. bobproff

    My cousin Leonard was in the 531st Engineer's Regiment and was part of the 2nd Wave on Omaha Beach. He became part of the 3052nd Engineer Combat Battalions when the 531st disbanded 2 Aug 1944. I can post dates as shown in his letters and postcards of several locales he was at from D-Day to Nov. 1945 when he finally got to go home for his daughter's birthday and Christmas with his family.
