I have been a fan of WW2 stories and technology. I was wondering if there is somewhere I could go, in Southern California, to see and maybe even fire a few iconic weapons of WW2, such as the 1928 Thompson, the M1 Garand, the M1 Carbine (which my dad used), the BAR, and maybe any others? Also I would sure like to sit in the seat of a Bofors 40mm quad or twin. And to get up close to an Orlikon 20mm and a 5" AA gun I don't think I would be allowed to fire those. Anyone know where to go? Thanks.
