    Hi all,

    New guy here from North Carolina (originally California!) seeking info on my grandfather's short service during WWII.

    Not a veteran myself (medically disqualified), but I've been a member of Civil Air Patrol for 15 years and counting, first as a cadet and now as an adult officer.

    I found this site after tons of searching on my grandfather's Army unit, which sadly, yielded very little info.
