Have developed an interest in 13th century history and created a related blog. An interview with battle fiction writer David Pilling. An article about the famine that hit in England in 1258. An article about the death of Little Sir Hugh of Lincoln in 1255. Have updated the 13th century blog with a review of David Pilling's book 'Rebellion Against Henry III -The Disinherited Montfortians 1265- 1274', which presents a strong case that the conflict known as The Second Barons War did not end at the Battle of Evesham in 1265, with the defeat and death of Simon de Montfort.
