I was too young for WW2 but later was able to become a Korean War Vet. I am fascinated with all the Nazi schemes that occurred and am wondering why the rest of the world did not act when Hitler started breaking the Versailles Treaty Agreements that they signed after WW1.
Welcome aboard, so good to have a Korean vet aboard. "wondering why the rest of the world did not act when Hitler started breaking the Versailles Treaty Agreements" - Many leaders today are breaking rules and even laws as the world watches...China, Russia, Iran, Nth Korea (I'm sure you remember them) and many more...and the world watches.
Welcome to the forums! Thanks for your service. When did you serve in Korea, and which unit were you with?
Welcome, and thanks for your service fin Korea from me, too. Leaders who break rules etc. usually do so because they have become extremely powerful and often hide behind a large network of followers and helpers. It is only when someone takes a stand against them that they are eventually defeated. Hitler took the easy way out, some might say.

Ayup from the UK, Lon, Personally think your war is one of the real 'forgotten' conflicts of the C20th. More than intrigued by anybody who fought in its perspective. Cheers, ~Adam.
Welcome. A coworker served in the 7ID in Korea. He got there right when the armistice started. He was a kid when they dropped him off at his guardpost at the middle of the night. Too dark to see anything. He was so happy when he was relieved.
Hello to a fellow Californian I'm in the south Orange County ten miles south of Disneylsnd. Walt is probably rolling in his grave seeing how they have made the park so expensive to get into these days. Walt wanted people to be able to visit freely and enjoy the park. Ope you have a great time on the forum
