The device previously referred too as being a muzzle brake is possibly a tool used by beach combers in the metal detecting community (treasure hunters). It may be the tool used to sift beach sand when a target is identified with a metal detector. It appears to be constructed of aluminum, with green plastic handle grips. The handle is likely 2-3 feet in length to increase leverage when digging deep into beach sand/water. The holes in the scoop allow sand/water/debris drain, leaving heavier objects such as coins inside for retrieval.
Thank you General Patton. Yep, blame Rich. BTW, "It's a Joke Son" is a title of an old b/w movie that inspired Warner Bros' Foghorn Leghorn. "One step closer and I will strike you down with my trusty southern blade!"
