There was a huge flood of airbrushes from China and super cheap, has anyone gotten one and if so how good is it. Is it comparable to the actual Iwata.
I bought a Chinesium airbrush years ago, and it was arse. Nearly put me off airbrushing altogether. Splattery finickety crap, with a worse compressor. Bit the bullet and bought an Iwata with their compressor. Bomproof, for c.20 years. Consistent, easy to use & clean, never felt an urge to get another for a moment. Which doesn't answer the question, but raises another for me: Why bother buying anything else? Used a few other brands, some 'OK', but compared to the Iwata - nope. Slightly wince-inducing entry price becomes irrelevant down the line when you've used the thing without a blip for over a decade. Not many items you can buy that are an absolute pleasure every single use, and as my old man says: "You rarely regret an extravagance"
I had a paashe h type worked fine. But in the scale I'm doing now its good mostly for over sprays. I would like to know if they work well enough to at least for over spraying. If they work decent enough I want to get a few for my nephews to learn with.
