Interesting that it is Turkey that for a while has shut the route to the Black Sea from elsewhere.

Erdogan is a wise guy, he keeps his country away from the dictate from Washington which has clear objective - to further cripple Europe and make it even more subdued and dependent on the AUKUS.

Look, Europe, you and I, will pay the price of all ofthis mess. We already have received lots of "refugees" in luxury cars from ukraine. Our government is preparing plans for integration of refugees, providing jobs and education of children. We will pay and the US will reap all the benefits. We will import expensive gas from the US. Every side in this conflicts will have some profits except Europe. Even China will profit: cheap energy from Russia and large market for Chinese products.

The objective was: Russia out of Europe and Europe down.

What are "all the benefits"? And why am I not seeing any?

The US is paying higher LNG prices as the supply is diverted to Europe, and costs in the US are expected to continue to rise, as more LNG is diverted to Europe instead of going to US tanks as backstock for summer air conditioning season and next winter.

As always, you never let facts get in the way of your frothy mouth rants.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy asks for Australian Bushmaster armoured vehicles in address to federal parliament - ABC News

"Here today, in Australia's home of democracy, we welcome you as a lion of democracy," he said.

"Yes, you have our prayers, but you also have our weapons [and] our military aid."

Since Posted: "We're going to be sending our armoured vehicles, our Bushmasters as well, and we'll be flying them over there on our C-17 [Globemasters]."

Would half expect Zelensky to commandeer at least one of these...Would be cool to see him get out of one...

    Hello Kai-Petri!
Erdogan understands perfectly what's going on. Europeans despise Turks but praise them when they need a favour. EU is marriage without love, especially for Turkey.
It is interesting to see that even Chinese understand European problems better than our officials in Bruxelles. EU beurocrats are attempting today the impossible: to extort China? Idiots.

Look what the Chinese have said even before Europe tried to extort China:

Hours before the China-EU leaders' meetings on Friday, Chinese analysts warned that China-EU relations cannot be kidnapped by the Ukraine crisis, and Europe should no longer be abducted by the US in foreign policy, as it will greatly undermine the EU's own interests, making it difficult to ensure economic recovery and people's livelihood, and runs counter to Europe's aim of pursuing strategic independence.

The analysts' warning came after several sources from Europe claimed before the summit that Brussels is seeking to warn Beijing about supporting Russia in the Ukraine crisis, and some EU officials said any help from China to Russia would "jeopardize" relations with its biggest trade partners - Europe and the US, citing that the trade volume between China and the bloc is much higher than that between China and Russia.

Analysts said that Europe's pressure against China coming before the summit was a usual trick it played attempting to manipulate the agenda of the summit and coerce China into standing with the EU and the US on the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which China will never accept.

They've played this beautifully. They will reap the profit. Ordinary AUKUS citizens will also get nothing, just the mob.
    This illustrates the present situation:

Well, Russia is doing something wrong. The % in both Sweden and Finnish Congresses to join NATO is over 80 in both countries, and preferably before summer even.
Russia demands that Europe must pay in rubles the gas sent but Germany, France and was it the UK refused this. Now it is a political conflict. Even Finland says we can use other energy means to cover the loss of Russian gas and oil.
Can China cover the financial losses of losing the European markets? At the moment it is thought that Russian economy goes down 10% the following year, and Ukraine 20%.
Finnish military advisor said that Russia has 70% of their military force used in the Ukraine battle. Putin must call the reserves to army if the troops today are not enough. That would be a blow to Putin 's comments as he said that he will not use the reserve or the conscripts. The latter are used and recently it is thought 1-2,000 men are called from Georgia to fight in Ukraine as well.
Looks like Ukraine is a tougher nut to crack than Putin thought in the first place.

I am leaning towards the end of everything and have no reason to be cute anymore. Be ready for it. Happy to see Opana you made it. Cheers. I will push to no 1 once more even if it's candy from a baby. Russia, since Winter War I don't feel you. Nothing new. Nothing. Nada.back to the program.

We don't do that anymore...Mutually Assured Destruction. Same reason NATO has not gone all in.

That's why we have proxy wars.
