And as long the Turks do not admit the Armenian genocide they should keep their mouths shut, right? Definitely no. Even Hitler said if the world does not react to it they will not care about Jews.

No problem Mr Erdogan, Putin's puppet. We just stop our massive tourism and House owning in Turkey. We go to Spain and Greece instead. The Kurds politics is forbiddden in Finland by law. You did not know you vegetable? I guess Putin called you. Not that I wanted to visit your military country anyway. Greece says Thank You!

In Belarus death penalty has been ordered into use again. Terrorism is one of the penalty reasons, and young politicians and newspaper people against the government are considered terrorists. So they can be arrested and face the death penalty. Does not sound like a democracy, really.
According to this law all the US citicens who entered the Congress would be given the poison injection for terrorism.

I read Russia has started a propaganda program against Finland. A short film where a Russian soldier drives towards Helsinki. Nice one but not far with a bullet in your head or mg bullets in your body. Remember, remember 1939. If you ever get away from Ukraine except body bags. Mskva is not shipping you home. Want a Z tattoo somewhere?

Oh Lavrov, oh Lavrov. Where are thou?

Does this thing look like it's going to end soon? Now that the media have lost interest after the first month, exactly what will happen if the Russians are pushed back into Federation territory?

We know what will happen if Russia takes the country, the Ukraine will disappear into the Federation just as the Crimea did.

Ukraine won’t go into Russian territory…It would tarnish their PR and invite being nuked. There are still daily stories…just not front page.

Original idea for a tank was tracked tractor with bolt-on armor... so yeah.

    Surprise, suprise....actually not...

Russia halts gas supplies to Finland

Russia halts gas supplies to Finland

Finland has been refusing to pay for its supplies in roubles. But it also follows an announcement that Finland will apply for Nato membership.

Gasum said the move was "regrettable" but said there would be no disruption to customers.

Finland imports most of its gas from Russia but gas accounts for less than a tenth of the country's energy consumption.
On Sunday, Russia also cut electricity supplies to Finland. It had threatened retaliation should Finland apply to join Nato.

Moscow, Russia (CNN) -- Russian President Dmitry Medvedev sacked four top generals Tuesday after an explosion at a Navy arsenal killed at least eight bomb disposal experts a day earlier, he announced.

He also ordered the Defense Ministry to consider punishments for two other top military officials in the wake of the disaster.

Russia has declared victory in its months-long battle to conquer the Ukrainian port city of Mariupol.

The last fighters defending the city's Azovstal steel plant have now surrendered, Moscow officials said.

For months the troops had been holed up in the huge complex, preventing Russia from establishing complete control over the city.

Russian Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Vitaly Savelyev

Because of the sanctions, Russia has to solve problems with logistics and build new routes. This was announced on Saturday, May 21, by the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Vitaly Savelyev.

“You know that the sanctions that were imposed today on the Russian Federation have practically broken all the logistics in our country, and we are forced to look for new logistics corridors together,” the head of the Ministry of Transport explained after visiting infrastructure facilities in the Astrakhan region. About it reports “Interfax”.

If all it takes is economic sanctions to break down the entire logistics apparatus of the Russian Federation, what sort of state were they in to begin with?

This war looks like it could be the end of the Putin regime and a start of free elections and proper democracy for the first time ever,

Free elections and proper democracy do not exist in the West either, why do you think there will be any in Russia?

We certainly have a better electoral system than simply keeping the same person in power until they die.

If something isn't done soon about this situation in The Russian Federation, he's going to lead us into a bigger conflict than World War Two ever was.

And the Chinese will sit back and profit from it all and become the new global strongman as the last one standing that can afford a protracted conflict.

Do we really want that to happen?

    I certainly don't

What West does is that it changes holders of offices of government, but that does not mean that it changes holders of power.

Possibly. But generally speaking, world conflicts happen whenever there is an exchange of global hegemons. And no hegemon stays on the top forever, so World War 3 is pretty much unavoidable.

Always after a big war everyone says "never again". After a generation or two warfare and medals start to interest again both young and old men, the young naturally die.... Only the total destruction and fear of the A-bomb has stopped WW3 so far.

A Russian tank commander has been convicted for life for shooting an elderly woman in the head. "I acted under orders".
I think we have heard this before. Was it the nazis, perhaps? Under whose orders, I wonder.

Just read a news report that said Russia lost another general-this time an air force one. Source is Ukrainian intellegence. Confirmation comes from Russian social media accounts of servicemen under him. Seems to have been well liked. Apparently, a stinger missile did him in.

The end of Putin....what a weird way. We all thought he was the re-newer but actually he is the crazy psychopatic ex-KGB man.
