    Bobby (aka A-58) checks in from Historic St. Charles Missouri. If I ever visit the city, I know who I'm going to ask for reviews of the local drinking establishments.

    This also puts Missouri onto the list of US States from which we have postcards, we now have 23 of the 50.

    Founded in 1769 , it is quite historic - for the USA.

    Every damn wide spot on the road has a "Historic Downtown" here.

    If you make it to St. Louis I suggest the Endangered Wolf Center (founded by Marlin Perkins), the Science Center, and the Eades Bridge, the first all metal bridge across the Mississippi, our mega zoo.

    Oh, and the Flying Saucer Bar has 200+ beers on tap.

    Well if anyone goes to St. Charles and decides to do a pub crawl, I suggest getting a room at the several BnBs in town. There's a lot of pubs and saloons there to partake of.
