Storied forums member Ricky sends in this impressive note as his first submission to the WW2F/FPS. The card portrays panel 13 of 34 of the Overlord Embroidery, from the Portsmouth D-Day Museum. I'm not sure if the card's size is evident in the embedded photo, but it is especially wide. A typical large postcard is 16cm (6.5") wide, this one is 23cm (9") wide, more akin to a standard envelope. Fairly surprised by, and appreciative of, the £1.85 postage required to get this sent across the Atlantic into the site P.O. box.

Not bad for your first entry Ricky!

I'm glad you like it, took me a while to choose one out of the 34 options!

The very friendly lady who works at my mailbox drop is well aware of the postcard system we have going and I told her to feel free to inspect them when they come in. When I walked in this past Tuesday, she said "Hey Otto, you got a huge postcard from Ricky in England." She was certainly correct.

I'll now expect to collect a complete set of the Embroidery as Rogues visit the museum. :D
