    Good Luck

I honestly think that cycling accross the Pyrenees or paddling a canoe down the Rhine might be a better course of action.

But  urgh!!, in order to have a promising chance to tackle that fence would imply that you might need to purchase a Nazi bike :D!

    Regards

Urqh, I'm sure that while you are riding your stolen BMW motorbike towards the fence, you will be whistling that tune from "Bridge Over the River Kwai" eh?

You do know how to whistle, don't you?

Have you seen an ex- british service man ? Teeth kicked out all over the empire. My bet is that the gap between Urqh's remaining teeth makes him whistle just by breathing.

Well, if that's the case, he could just open his mouth while bearing down on the barbed wire. Kind of like playing the "face harp" eh? I guess he could just turn his head a bit and get that wind whistling into the empty jug sound to add to his musical madcap run. We could get witd45 to chime in with "The Men of Harlech" and The Historian to crank up the pipes as urqh flies by....

I see a tale of daring doo in the pen and quill section coming on....The lads escape from the forums....Carl will be chief guard of course..

I whistle..I have a dog whistle for the sheep dog. I also have missing teeth to testify as Jaeger says....

I wont be seen dead on a German bike as Kruska well knows..I wouldnt dishonour our vets...Id rather not escape or at least rent a Kawasaki 250...dishonour me dad...Never....

The pipes sound good...Highland Cathederal Historian....Strike it up laddie....I'm currently paddling me kayak thru sheep muck...The paddles not making much progress and that electric fence is still too far away...Jim...Jim come bye...lie down Jim...I hate that dog....

    Gordon.

Any Scot with a sence of humor should opt for Cock of The North when conversing with an Englishman.

AND it is the Regimental march of the Gordons.. Before the Government wrecked all of the highland regiments.... Who'll stop jerry now?

I've had a few recent queries on this topic of late, so resurrecting this thread.

Nothing has changed with respect to merging WW2F and WW2Talk. WW2Talk will remain both independent and separate, and WW2F will be its own entity also. There will be some technical changes to both sites, but they will not be merged.

This may seem odd in light of the multiple other sites incorporated into WW2F over the years, (including one confusing hosted at WorldWar2Talk.com), but the original WW2Talk has always had it's own unique culture and direction well worth preserving.

Some of the sites preserved via ingestion into WW2F.com:
War44.com - WWII Open Resource Group
WorldWar2Talk.com - WWII Open Resource Group
Tanks in World War 2 Forum - WWII Open Resource Group

One great database not yet imported, but well worth the effort is the now defunct World War II Zone Forums:
