    Hi all.

WW2talk has been down for a couple of days, at least for me here in the states.
Anyone know what is going on?

    Thanks

She's back up. Sorry, I've been extremely disconnected from all things internet recently.

Stay calm, don't panic. And if you do panic, do it with style and panache.

LOL One "don't" panic moment for me was when USS Reeves was alongside a oiler, forty feet from MUCH fuel and explosives. That was when I got the word over the soundpowered phones, "No. 2 Main Engine throttle linkage just fell apart." Would have been ... messy if that shaft had gone independent on us.

A piece of rope and a loin cloth means less laundry to clean. If you're in the SW desert or other warm climate, I can see how it can be reasonable. However, in cold climes that won't be fun.

Back to the subject of WW2 Talk - its a great website for all things British Commonwealth in WW2.
