    Bobby (A-58), keeps up his rapid postcard pace with a submission from historic St. Marys, Georgia. Initially settled in the 1500s, this is one of the original town in Georgia. I think the USN Submarine Museum that Bobby mentions would be a great place to visit!

    Georgia was the source for much of the live oak used in building the nascent USN. "Old Ironsides" got her nick because of the live oak used in her construction. Live oak gets harder as it is exposed to salt water.
