Looks like a reenactor movie in an old british steelmill with dodgy "Ghost train" special effects ... worth a look though I guess. Has it been out yet? I couldn't find any reviews on it.

I hope they don´t make it too much of a cannibal film though...

The preview seems OK at least. No special effects like "Saving Private Ryan" or "Pearl Harbour" by I hope to see a good script and good acting. [IMG]

Seems quite nice! I will visit the movie when it arrives in Holland.

There was a movie, Stalingrad, released in the later 90s that was a German produced movie like Das Boot.

The movie was pretty good and traced the lives of German soldiers going to the Eastern Front and ultimately to Stalingrad.

As for cannibalism, Antony Beevor, in his book, Stalingrad, briefly makes mention of this.

Is there a new movie titled Stalingrad?
Isn't there another new movie about Stalingrad called Dantes Demise?

It is available on DVD. I just borrowed it from a friend and I liked it. My favorite quote "Shot the big bastard".
