Hmmmmmmmmmmm.......looks good, similar to the Band of brothers Snow scenes in Bastogne! I know I will like it but Band of brothers, Private Ryanish, June 1944- May 1945 was only the end of the war lets see some North Africa, Med, Italian Eastern Front stuff.
For Example I think the British Film 'Enemy at the Gates' was a great idea, (except the love interest).
There is a film called 'The Drop' being made that is about Arnhem... They asked if I wanted to buy shares in it!
I wonder if 'Saints & Soldiers' will get a UK release ? Possibly the largely unknown cast and director would make it too much of a commercial risk for a distributor here. I'd certainly be interested to see it, particularly its handling of the Malmedy incident - web reviews of the US release have been quite positive ; the film doesn't seem to be overblown or sentimental. ( PS : I can see RedBaron now - cigar between teeth; 'The kid stays in the picture...' )
does that movie have a website? i heard about it a while ago. I wonder if it´ll be as good as "a bridge too far"
doesn't seem to have a website but it seems to be a cross between the Italian job and Kellys heroe's. Its about a heist during the Arnhem offensive to get a Nazi stash of gold! Will have to wait and see!
