How about John Banner playing the one and only Sgt. Hans Schultz. :D ...even though Schultz isn't a nazi

Schultz: Col. Hogan if you ever escape...
    Hogan: Yeah?
Schultz: Be a good fellow and take me with you.

I was impressed by Kenneth Branagh's portrayal of Reinhard Heydrich in 'Conspiracy'.

Must admit Branagh did a brilliant job but Feinnes in Schindler is a totally terrifying person in my opinion...

    Eeek!

That man is crazy looking. Nightmare central! He may not be the definitive Nazi but he looks scarier than Freddy Cruger.

Reminds me of the late war joke in Germany that went something like " The war is not over until Göring fits Göbbels´ pants..."

    ;)

Maximillian Schell as Stransky in Cross of Iron as well as Willi Bittrich in A Bridge Too Far. My favorite by far.

Bruno Ganz or Maximilian Schell would get my vote. Schell is excellent in both a Bridge too Far and Cross of Iron (My favourite war film)
