Pacific 'Band of Brothers' ?

    Flags of our Fathers bombed because of the Side story. They should have kept more to the combat, like saving private Ryan. Dont worry about the political BS.

    same here i loved band of brothers and if pacific is as good as band of brothers i will watch every part

    Looks great. Hope the characters will be as interesting as in Band Of Brothers.

    Looks like they were able to round up quite a few opperational LVTs from the few photo's I've seen. You can't beat seeing the real thing. Good to see the OD rolling...or swimming for that matter! :cool:

    I'm not a big fan of the Pacific theatre, but there can't be too many good tv-series about the WWII. So, if this show ever find it's way to Finland... I'll be watching. And of course, there's always Amazon.com.

    i not really into the pacific ww2 compaine,i more into the germans and english and americans and russians and italins eruopean wars.
    so i am not keen to watch it really,

    yes,i agree.B/O/B eastern european war,i would differently watch this program.

    My late father in law was an actual WWII combat veteran and he did rate "Band of Brothers" as one of the few films on the subject as "close to the mark". Some other great films on the subject of WWII are "Talvisota", "Stalingrad", "Memphis Belle", and "The Longest Day." I never got "Cross of Iron" to my late father in law for an authenticity rating but that one might have also passed.

    I liked the first band of brothers good series can,nt wait to watch the new one it,s probably gonna be really good.

    Sorry everyone for bringing up an old thread.

    Interesting! i to can see American Band of brother was great and interesting to watch,and by just watching it,i can see it was really truthful.

    Hey,Do you think an British Band Of Brothers will ever come out???This will be an interest to be also.

    The series is definately looking good...

    Looking forward to buying it when it comes to DVD..Anyone know the realease date of the series on TV and/or DVD?
